From Belfast to Beirut.

Through our networks we have the potential to make connections to Baptist believers across the world. Baptist churches are found proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in almost every country of the world. Click the website links below for more information.

IRELAND

Association of Baptist Churches in Ireland

The Association of Baptist Churches in Ireland, established in 1895, is a Gospel Partnership of around 120 independent local churches who have voluntarily agreed to work together. These churches have over 8,500 members and represent a Baptist community of over 20,000.

IBN is a separate organisation seeking through networking to encourage fellowship with the global Baptist family.

LEBANON

Lebanese Society for Educational and Social Development

LSESD is a Lebanese non-profit Baptist Organisation that seeks to strengthen the witness of the Church in the Arab World through inclusive Education, Community Development, and church discipleship.

Our vision is to see communities transformed and churches flourishing both in Lebanon and the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region for the glory of God.

LSESD has a holistic approach to ministry that combines both demonstration and proclamation of the gospel. As explained by the Micah Declaration on Integral Mission: “If we ignore the world we betray the Word of God, which sends us out to serve the world. If we ignore the Word of God, we have nothing to bring to the world”.

LSESD also applies an integrated approach to ministry where each one of LSESD’s six ministries complements the other in its own field of expertise. This enables LSESD to tackle issues and challenges from different angles rendering the suggested solutions and impact more durable and holistic. The six ministries are … Arab Baptist Theological Seminary (ABTS), Beirut Baptist School, Special Education (SKILD), Salt and Light (Outreach), Publications (DMAH), and Relief and Development (MERATH).

IBN has been supporting LSESD ministries for nearly 10 years.

UKRAINE

All-Ukranian Union of Churches of Evangelical Christians-Baptists, otherwise referred to as The Baptist Union of Ukraine

The Baptist Union unites the religious communities of Evangelical Christian-Baptists through regional associations. The goal is the organizational and spiritual unity of believers and the spread of evangelical ideas in society.

The All-Ukrainian Union of Evangelical Christian Baptist Churches is the largest Protestant community in Ukraine. Before the war, which started in February 2022, it had around 2,500 churches and missionary groups, which united more than 113,000 believers, with regularly worshipping numbers of around 300,000. The effects of the war have been devastating on our brothers and sisters who continue to church plant and offer hope and help in Christ’s name, by participating in community relief and support. The Union is a member of the European Baptist Federation (EBF) and the Baptist World Alliance (BWA), and actively participates in both.

IBN has been supporting Ukraine Baptist Union ministries for nearly 10 years.
