Appeal to provide a 2019 camp for

in Lebanon’s refugee camps.

IBN has committed to raise a minimum of £8,500 (or $10,500) to support ONE camp in 2019.

CAN YOU PLEASE HELP US REACH THE TARGET... to raise a further £4000.  £4500 already has been raised, so we are more than half way there! With your help we can soon make up the balance of £4500 to ensure a camp is fully supported.

In 2017, with the help of friends in Irish Baptist churches, we supported TWO camps for vulnerable Syrian refugee children. THANK YOU!

Baptist Children and Youth Ministry (BYCM) of the Lebanese Society for Educational and Social Development (LSESD) arrange camps for children and teenagers all year round. They focus on vulnerable children and teenagers who are refugees. They have a programme to follow up on the children after camps.   “Through our Children’s Ministry, we aim to help refugee children overcome some traumas by showing them how special they are in God’s sight.  We organize events where they can enjoy each other’s company, feel free to just be a kid in “child-friendly” spaces, and most importantly, learn about how much Jesus loves them.”

Jesus said: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Once we have met the target, we can hopefully have a small (self-financed) group visit Lebanon to support the camp and also see the valuable and wide-ranging ministries of LSESD. To see the range of ministries of LSESDgo

Every gift will be acknowledged, and all funds will be transferred to LSESD.

Please make your gift payable to Irish Baptist Networks. Send it to The Hon. Secretary, Irish Baptist Networks, 6 Millturn View, Dromore. BT25 1HG -- marked “Lebanon-Syrian Children Project”.
